1. About us

Old Auction House (“OAH”, “we”, “us”) operates the restaurant located at Linden Park Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN2 5QL, United Kingdom, and the website oah.co.uk. You can contact us at hello@oah.co.uk.

2. Bookings & reservations

Reservations are confirmed by email once availability is verified by our team. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking with reasonable notice. Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may result in the table being released.

3. Pre-paid events & deposits

Tickets for themed events are non-refundable but may be transferred to another guest up to 48 hours before the event. Deposits taken to secure private hire or large group bookings are deducted from the final bill and are non-refundable in case of late cancellation.

4. Vouchers

Gift vouchers issued by OAH are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, are redeemable across food, drinks and events, are non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

5. Allergens & dietary requirements

Please inform our team of any food allergies or intolerances before ordering. While we take every reasonable precaution, our kitchen handles allergens including gluten, nuts, dairy, shellfish and eggs and we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of traces.

6. Behaviour & right of admission

We reserve the right to refuse service or admission to anyone whose behaviour we consider abusive, unsafe or disruptive to other guests or staff.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for the relevant booking, ticket or voucher.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
